Overview: Case Study

This was my 3rd sem project where we had to work in the concept of sustainability so we chose to work with food management.
Challenge
Most users have low visibility into what’s actually inside their fridge. Items expire unnoticed, produce spoils early, and ingredients get duplicated due to poor tracking.
Solution
End product was an app design which will streamlines food management with automated expiry tracking, predictive spoilage alerts, and intelligent meal suggestions.
What I learnt...
- Our problem statement had a solution in mind. We had to go beyond that and solve for other problems we found during our research even if they didn’t look so “cool” in the final designs.
- We had to start from scratch every time we found a loophole so we started documenting even the small bits of the process.
